Use cases
Like described in the Text and Text area fields use cases, we created the title, and content fields for a custom subsection. This is a perfect example of how the Group field could be used. Since both, Subsection Title and Subsection Content fields always exist together, we can group them into a Subsection group. Now it looks a lot better!

Setup
View group as - Allows you to decide if a group should initially be visible as opened, or closed during content editing. This is helpful if you have a lot of fields and groups, and some of them are not so important. You can start them as “closed” so you will get a cleaner view during editing. You can, of course, always expand groups manually!
